Never enough elixir.
Never enough time.

A three-minute duel on a two-lane battlefield. Eight cards, a bar that refills whether you are ready or not, and one crown between you.

The Highlands arena: a snowfield split by a frozen river, two stone bridges, and six tower pads ringed with pines.

Three minutes to decide it

You both start half full and fill at exactly the same rate. Everything that separates two players is what they spend it on, and when.

A match on The Crypt: teal flagstone either side of a dark channel, two bridges, six towers with health bars, and a hand of four cards under a full elixir bar.

The bar refills on its own clock

Sit on a full bar and you are throwing elixir away. Empty it and the counter-push arrives while you are broke. It doubles for the last minute, and triples if the match goes past three — the same mistakes cost more, faster.

Two lanes, two bridges

Everything on the ground uses one of them. What flies over, swims across or leaps the gap does not — and that is most of what those cards are for. Cover both bridges and you are thin everywhere; commit to one and hope you guessed right.

Crowns, then sudden death

Break a tower for a crown. Break the King and it ends on the spot. Lead on crowns at three minutes and you have won; level, and you get a minute where the next crown takes it.

One every 2.8 seconds

It does not wait for you.

Eight cards. Four in hand.

Knowing what your opponent is holding matters more than what you brought — four of their eight are in hand, and the rest is counting. Rarity is not damage: it is how unusual the thing the card does is.

The full roster is forty-two cards, and eleven of them are spells.

Six battlefields

The board never changes — one river, two bridges, six towers, because both players have to be playing the same game. What changes is where you are playing it, and you climb to each one on trophies.
